Very nice preserved canal wharf.

Ideal wharf to moor up and nip to Tesco's if ur boating. Decent sized winding hole at the end to go back down the channel
We moored there for two days when on a narrow boat.. A small town but very interesting walks and eateries. Highly recommended.
We visited when there was a carnival and market on and we had a good day browsing the handmade crafts that were on display and lots of pageants and fair ground shows, apparently on every year so one to look out for excellent day out
The best way to get away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowded streets . The canal system around here is second to none . Beautiful long boats all painted colourful gems of the waterways . And the quite flow of the water with its reflections and mirror images leaves you gob smacked . A must for anyone . Thumbs up from me has you can tell from the glowing essay .
