Very good municipal course and very friendly club house. There is a membership scheme and there is a Woosnam Golf Academy on site. Well maintained and some challenging holes.

Played a couple of weeks ago when very wet. Greens were in good condition. Can't fault the course due to the weather. Will play there again.

Well maintained for a council course. Just a pleasant 18 hole course with interesting holes and not too challenging for a high handicapper.

The staff were great, as usual, but the course is in poor condition: particularly the greens, despite it not being used for several months. I don't know whether the ground staff have been furloughed during the lockdown period, but the course feels and looks very neglected, which is a pity because this is usually an excellent and demanding course to play. Hopefully it will be back to it's best soon.
