If I could give this place 6* I would. A week ago, I bought some new hiking boots. Having got them home I tried on with walking socks and they were a little too small. The following weekend I returned to the shop to exchange them. The store manager was very helpful and without hesitation went to find a larger size. They didn't have any in stock, so he ordered me a pair to be delivered to my house free of charge. 36hrs later, I have my new boots - and they fit. Fantastic service and great prices.

Service was very poor, and frankly rude. The shoes we were trying to return have massive holes in after only four months of casual wear. The server tried to say this was wear and tear, and would be expected from these shoes; she effectively told us that the shoes were expected to break after such a short period of time. The box that they come in says ‘durable soles’, which is just laughable. The server then tried to tell us that walking on roads and pavements was a high intensity activity- so i would hate to see the state of the shoes if they were to be used for any mountainous activity (which the name ‘mountain warehouse’ suggests they should cater for). Disappointed and unlikely to shop here again, no faith in products, and this lady was awful to talk to.
