I have a Superhawk trap and give it very little use. I find this trap well made, the launch distance is good and the flight consitant. Much better than my aim. After a good start to my day, my trap started breaking all the clays. After further investigation the Iris that opens to drop the clay has a hole to take a roller or a spring. I spoke to Promatic for advise and after a wobble, Clare took the reigns and not only supplied the part I thought I needed but suggested another. First class service and another happy customer.

SEE UPDATE BELOW .....What a saga with this company ... Bought a Pigeon Trap as Christmas present for my son. No instructions, found online. Once assembled discovered the spring didn't fit. Had to wait until 6th Jan 2020 for factory to return as expected. Then spoke to various people on the phone who kept telling me I was assembling it wrongly, eventually sent photos. I was eventually asked to dismantle and return it - when they got it back they admitted something was wrong and last week it was returned to me apparently in good working order. No letter of apology or explanation. I reassembled the trap only to find the disarm feature wouldn't work correctly. Once again they told me on the phone that I was doing something wrong (it's an on/off switch!). By now I'd wasted enough time on something that should have worked first time. In fairness they have offered a full refund once they get the trap back, but I just got the feeling they weren't that interested or bothered about dealing dealing with someone placing a private order. Still waiting for someone to actually write and apologise for disappointing my son and for the considerable amount of time and effort I've spent dealing with them. UPDATE - 15.3.2020 V pleased to report that Promatic have redeemed themselves. Unexpectedly received a phone call from the company to tell me that the Board of Directors had been mad aware of my trap problems and offered a compensation package which I gratefully accepted. Faith has been restored in a company I’ve dealt with periodically over twenty years.

I took our Merseyside Muzzle Loaders clay pigeon trap in for a service and was given a conducted tour of the factory by Steve the MD. Really interesting and surprised at the sheer size and range of traps manufactured by the company. Very professional and courteous staff AND our PG1 trap fully serviced & tested while I was on the factory tour!! Brilliant - thank you Promatic and the staff.
