Brilliant cosy pub with excellent food, very friendly
Food was shocking. T bone steak was tough and fatty, tripple cooked chips were actually frozen chips Peppercorn sauce was deffinatly from a packet. My wife got chicken pie, it was swimming in garlic sauce , it did not say that it was in garlic sauce, also said came with seasonal veg turned out to be just garden peas again it said triple cooked chips but were actually frozen, think the menu was decieving to what I thought we were getting, was not what we actually got, never put a review on any web site before but just feel like they need to say on their menu what you are actually getting dont say sesonal veg just say garden peas, say if the pie is in garlic sauce, triple Cook chips usually means home cook chips not out of a packet.
I couldnt fault it, the staff and the manager did everything they could to make things run smoothly, felt very comfortable and safe,. Well done, would highly recommend it. Food was good, service was great, thank you for a good evening in these strange times.
We only just wanted to see what the place was like. The service and meals were excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly have a meal here.
Very warm welcome even with our dog Albee and the outstanding staff could see we were cold so they moved us inside to the warmth
Tasty meal, pay up front (and for each item) which is unusual, each drink, desert, etc so gets a little bit disruptive? Beer was good too.
Cleaned regularly....friendly and attentive staff...abidding by all covid 19 guidelines....well done guys...wouldn't drink anywhere else
