Surprising good food. Had the brisket sandwich and a smoked salmon sandwich. Good bread and meat! The pumps are new. Happy to go back

Great food. One complaint (I don't believe in demerits for one small issue, no place is perfect!) There is constant frustrations with one another amidst the kitchen staff, and it shows. Lack of communication between employees limits availability with what's on the menu. Sarah forgot to order this, Janie forgot to prep that, etc. I know the work these ladies put into the food they sale, but some of the price per lb can be laughable. 8/lb for slaw, potato salad, etc. It is good stuff though! I know it seems like I'm harping a bit much for 5 stars, but I throughly enjoy each visit and though it breaks the bank and I'll probably never get to try the salmon salad (28lb) I will always return.

The food was always excellent the one brisket I had was prepared by the most amazing woman and I have never had a sandwich so delicious. The people are amazing. The cashiers were always able to make my day seem brighter!

The best cheeseburger in Ellijay! Yes. You may have to drive way out onto Hwy 52 close to BJ Reese Apple Orchard to get it. But, I'm telling you it's worth it! Old country store full of nostalgia and hand dipped ice cream. You just don't see this type of store anymore. The kiddos will think they've stepped back in time. The staff is happy to please. Tina, runs the register and is sweet as she can be. Just a little history about the place. Y'all remember Jr Samples from Hee Haw, the used car salesman? Call BR-549. His grandson use to actually own this little country store. Go check them out.
