Spend an hour with Doug, Steve and Kathie. Give them an hour of your time for the opportunity to preserve your peace of mind, save your home and a ton of money. At the end of day we have our home, a loan that has been modified to a 20 year term at a payment savings of over 400 a month and 3 great friends. All this after our home had been sold on the courthouse steps! We tried to do it ourselves but we were in something that was way over our heads.....Let the professionals that have gone though the same problems find a solution that works for you. And don't ever let anyone tell Doug he can't do something.

I was under the gun from the mortgage company and within hours of the deadline provided to me. I had attempted to work with my mortgage company, but as I had been assisted the year before, I was ineligible. After exhausting all resources available as well as some that in all likelihood I would not be considered for, I was at the end of my rope and desperate. I contacted St. Louis Home Retention Group. The first sign this place may actually be able to assist me, is that I did not receive a recorded message where I would be instructed to leave a message. The fact is, I left messages all over for over a week and eight days later, have only received a call back from one place. I called and Steve Scallorn answered the phone. He patiently listened to my frantic explanation of my situation and when I was finished, he advised what information would be required and was able to see me at an extremely convenient time in my schedule. When I arrived, I was greeted and treated with respect and consideration. Needing help is a difficult thing for me to admit to, and I had a deadline approaching the next day, so I was a wreck. Not knowing what I was going to do. Steve sat me down, gave me a Kleenex, listened to my situation, looked over my documents and then he provided what options were available to me. Here is the amazing end to the story: He was not able to help me. Instead of sending me away to deal with my problem, he utilized a network of individuals that the company works with and was able to direct me to someone who could provide that which was out of his field. THIS COMPANY GAVE ME HOPE WHEN I HAD NONE. In my opinion, nothing more needs to be said as that is priceless.

When you're in a situation where you think you might lose your home you get desperate, panicky and very stressed out. There are a lot of rip-off artists out there. And then there's St. Louis Home Retention Group. Doug and Steve Scallorn are life-savers. They stopped the foreclosure of our home and helped us get our load reduced to a fraction of what we owed. And they're such good guys. Don't try to do this on your own. You'll fail and your hose will be taken away from you. Call these guys and thank me later.

We just completed our negotiation with our lender, Bank of America, represented by the St. Louis Home Retention Group. After approximately three months of effort, the result is beyond the pale. Our new fixed rate mortgage is 2%. Yes, 2%! Our new mortgage lifts a significant burden from our shoulders and lightens our step. Because of the St. Louis Home Retention Group's expertise and guidance we are not only able to keep our home of 17 years but our new monthly payment is significantly less. It defies comprehension but it is true. If, for whatever reason, you find yourself in a situation where the possibilities of keeping your home seem impossible or remote at best, I sincerely encourage you to reach out to them. They don't walk on water but they do provide hope, which is so important, and the possibility of a miracle for your family to keep your home as they have done for mine. I'm in on the St. Louis Home Retention Group!

According to the latest reports, the St. Louis Home Retention Group has now helped over 425 homeowners receive Loan Modifications and have played the major role in stopping over 235 actual foreclosure sale dates from happening! In total, they have helped over 750 households receive some form of significant assistance thru the Loss Mitigation process and are currently working on in excess of another 75 soon-to-be success stories! And this has all been accomplished when most of their customers had previously been turned down by the banks after they had tried to navigate thru the unbelievably convoluted process on their own, or even worse, had paid significantly exorbitant fees to other companies who delivered nothing, while professing to do what St. Louis Home Retention Group actually accomplishes on a regular basis . They have been in business since March of 2009, and despite being in arguably one of the most scrutinized businesses in the country, they have received ZERO complaints with the Better Business Bureau and have therefore earned BBB's A rating. These people truly do save families, one home at a time, and change people's lives everyday.

I was laid off from my job of 12 years and spent 8 months unemployed. Needless to say I fell behind on my mortgage and the lender was not willing to work with me at all. I happened to hear a radio commercial for the St. Louis Home Retention group so I gave them a call. Just a couple short meetings at their offices to get some financial info from me and off to work they went. Within a couple months they had negotiated a home loan modification that would keep me in my home. They were a pleasure to work with and really came through for me.
