Currently sitting in Ellon practice after submitting my registration forms. Yvonne the lady booking me in took great offence when I said I'd have to phone gdocs if I couldn't get an appointment as I'm struggling to walk. She was huffing and puffing and pulling faces like her job was a total inconvenience. Not impressed so far in fact I'm completely put off by the receptionists attitude with not only myself but everyone else coming in.

Was very very disappointed and infact angry this morning, I took my friends elderly mother down to get her flu jab at 9.20, as on her appointment slip, couldn't get her signed in so waited in a queue to speak with the receptionist and got her signed in there, took a seat in the waiting room which was really quite busy I must admit. Folk coming and going, being called for by doctors and nurses, folk that came in after us being taken and we were still sitting there, I put up with this until about 9.50 and then we t to the receptionist and said that we were still waiting, the very nice receptionist looked and said yeah I have marked her as arrived, then she said oh but her appointment was at 9.05 so they will have thought she was late and u only get 10 minutes then u are classed as a missed appointment, I then produced the slip that my friends mum got with the time of 9.20 on it, which she then said I will go and have a word with them and see what is going on, she came back a wee while later to say that my friends mum had been shouted for twice, which in this case is not true as I was sitting there with her and no way was she shouted for, and she would have to rebook an appointment, which we did but I think it's awful that something like this has happened to one of ur elderly patients, who depends on a lift down to her appointments, and for her to be told that she had been called for twice is despicable, maybe she had been called but if so it had been before her appointment time, yes the one that she had the slip for, for 9.20. At 87 years old it was a bit of an ordeal for her and would be fair to say for me to. Would like to hear an answer to this one please.

Often very busy. Difficult to get an appointment at short notice. Patient Access online booking and prescription service is good though and the medical staff are all good.

Unfortunately they've messed up my prescription numerous times. They insist on reviewing medication but its fault at there end .

Good if you can get an appointment. The waiting list is pretty big though...

Getting an appointment can be hard at times. But never really had a problem if i am having a serious issue

I have had no issues or concerns with the Doctors at the practice but that is only if you manage to get an appointment. The receptionists are blockers and have no appreciation of individual circumstances.
