I decided to take the plunge and try cold water diving for the first time in October, and since then I've used Happy Diver drysuits for about 15 dives in the lochs and seas around Scotland. I have heard a great deal of complaining about drysuits, they seem to leak constantly, they can be uncomfortable, cold, dirty, etc. I can confidently say that Happy Diver proves to be the exception to this rule. I have never had any issues while using their drysuits, which are custom Otter Cordura-D drysuits if I'm not mistaken, and I come out of the water warm and bone dry. On my last trip, I also rented other equipment (mask, fins, hood gloves) as well as fleece undergarments which were also top quality at a very reasonable rate. Everything is delivered to you at a time of your convenience and is kept in a little bag which keeps your kit to yourself - always a benefit in my experience! The owner and his wife are very knowledgeable and are clearly passionate about their business, and it's very easy and simple to pay. In short, I can thoroughly recommend the service as good value for money and, most importantly, they have the most reliable wetsuits of any provider I have heard of.
