An excellent place for summer or fall camping. We were in the E loop which has excellent playground and beach amenities for children. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was some of the maintenance has not been done on things like the volleyball court and some of the site markers. The sites are a little close together but if you are camping using multiple sites it is ideal. A straightforward drive from Edmonton, this is a great weekend place to spend quality time outdoors!

Beautiful area! Campground was not very private but good, well maintained sites. Walk to the lake was an enjoyable 20 minutes from our campsite. Would recommend bringing bikes. Showers are ice cold. Nice concession at lake front

The lake was nice at the beach area, quite weedy everywhere else. I was looking forward to some dock fishing but the dock was up on the grass by the beach so fishing was a no go unless you have a boat of course. Some of the garbage cans were overflowing and the grass in the day use area was long and it was quite muddy. You have to bring your own hand sanitizer as there is nowhere to wash your hands; also the main bathroom was locked. There is an ice cream stand there and some nice trails. Picnic tables on the beach were nice. Decent playground for the kids. Overall a good place to take the kids to the beach for the day.

The sand was really nice and clean, as was the water and concession stand! Water was also very shallow, which was perfect for kids. Because the day use beach was pretty small, I appreciated the staff at the gates turning people away to maintain space for social distancing. Would definitely come back since it's not too far outside Edmonton and made for a great day trip!

Great lake with smaller beach but lots of sand and grass Boat launch and camping. I heard good fishing but not sure types. We used day use area which had plenty of campfires and tables. Come early for good parking. Concession on site and fairly reasonable pricing. Area is tidy including change rooms and washrooms/ garbage receptacles available. Overall, was a wonderful \get out of the city\ for our first visit and will most likely visit again. Lots of trees and shrubs around also.
