one star because I could not give it none! they tried to scam me into doing new gas duct work as it was not up to code where as IT WAS done by a reputable company...I have learned they do this to new customers from out of state!

UPDATE Dec 2020: a mixed bag working with Dead River. I will say that the people remain great and service orientation is still strong and well done. Their pricing for both propane and for service drags them to 3 stars, IMO. I had them change my propane tank in June but work actually needed for the fee charged seemed out of proportion. Eventually, I nego’d a small reduction with svc mgr but overall experience was disappointing. Beware also of their propane pricing, which is typically quite high- definitely shop around for pricing based on your usage. ORIG REVIEW, Spring 2018: All associates I have spoken with are consistently human, courteous and helpful. The processes I have encountered as a small homeowner seem efficient and fast. This past weekend, I needed an emergency propane delivery and was amazed at how easy it was to request and how accommodating the driver was. Then, I had a follow-up call early the next AM to check that all was satisfactory. Truly impressed.

The only reason I buy Dead River gas is because I have to they do not have a price policy that is fair a gallon of fuel or a pound of fuel or ever they sell it is priced differently from customer to customer simply because some people use it to heat their homes and some people only use it to cook on it I don't think it's fair a gallon of gas is a gallon of gas the price is what it should be coming out of the pump whether it's you're selling 1 gallon or 100 gallons
