Dr. Mary and Brian are an AWESOME duo. With chiropractic work and PT, I’ve been realigning my hips back to a place where I can find stability and strength again, especially after so much stretching with yoga. I have learned a lot about my body and coupling my healing with ACUPUNCTURE has been life changing!!! Gary is amazing at his work and it’s so worth the price if you can afford it. Just try it at least once it has helped me overall with mobility and feeling my body as a whole. I am so grateful to have worked with this amazing, knowledgeable staff.

I have endometriosis and have been in severe, constant pain for over a year and a half. I was looking for any kind of relief while my doctors and I figure out the root cause of my pain. I decided to try acupuncture; what could it hurt? I decided on Aligned Modern Health, because they seemed very medical and science-based. I didn't want to wander into a smokey shop and have my energies aligned. They are so clean and medical, but not sterile, here. I feel at ease and perfectly comfortable, each visit. I have seen Gary, twice, and the change in my pain has been profound. I don't sleep well and actually fell asleep both visits! I was so relaxed and the acupuncture completely took away my pain while the needles were in. My first visit, I had 3 days after with my pain drastically lowered. I had more energy and stamina. After those 3 days, I very slowly started to feel like I had before. Today was my second visit and I fully expect the same results or better, as I left feeling even better than I had my first appt! I know, having endometriosis, this will not cure or fix it, but it's making my pain and inflammation manageable to go about my day and feel like myself again. It gives me the energy to keep working with my doctors to figure out my pain. I have been living at a daily 6/7 out of 10 on a pain scale and acupuncture makes it so i'm at a daily 3/4 out of 10 for a few days. and then still less pain until my next appt. It may not seem like much, but if you live with chronic pain, you know that can be a huge jump. I also made an appt with their chiropractor and will be making a massage appt soon. If you have pain or chronic pain or especially endometriosis; I just can't recommend enough giving acupuncture a try. And definitely try it with Gary over at Aligned Modern Health in Elmhurst!
