First time trying this spot...our corporate office recently moved in to the Elmhurst area and me and another co-worker wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Jumbo sausage slice...basically a large piece of pizza cut into 3 or 4 smaller slices. Did not hit the spot....Pizza was bland and dry, just complete lack of flavor. Maybe the other food is good, but Pizza was very disappointing....maybe will give another shot with other menu items.
I've never had a bad meal at DiLeo's. I've moved from Elmhurst but still have them cater my family gatherings when I don't want to cook but visit with my guests. I don't even look at the menu anymore - I just call with the number of people and the basic idea of what I want and they put together a perfect menu that is on point for the quantity needed. Very helpful whether I'm ordering for pick up or for delivery. OMG - the chicken and mashed potatoes...call now!
Great burgers! Very thick and filling, love mushroom Swiss burger, best coleslaw anywhere hands down and everyone in my family says the same!
Ordered from Dileoa a few times. Enjoying the Papa Ds pizza, i. e. Italian beef and giardiniera. This time I couldn’t continue, there was a hair in the pie. I called and talked to Theresa, who assured me that it’s a bristle from an oven brush. It sure doesn’t look like one. I have texted her a picture of the “hair”. I await an answer and picture of this brush. I hope that I am wrong so I can edit my review. We will see... Here’s the picture of the brush. I’m skeptical, but Theresa is refunding me the cost of the pizza. So I’ll add a start for service.
