They installed a beautiful door
Ultimately disappointed. I ordered a new custom wood door for our old house. Tobin's was very nice to work with, they promised to save the antique elliptical transom above the crappy replacement door that a previous owner had installed. I was very excited about the door. We also ordered the handle set from Tobin and they were able to get the exact knob that I wanted. Everything was great until the installation. The door arrived unpainted with an excuse about the weather and that the painter would paint it in place. The paint is terrible. It is still unfinished. The door also does not close properly anymore. It was great that first week, but it gets worse and worse. My husband made the mistake of giving the painter the final check. They could care less about fixing the door or finishing the paint now. My advise is to watch them VERY closely and make sure your door is painted before installation. Also do not give them the final check for a week after completion, just to make sure the door or windows are functioning the way you would expect.
There is no chance in hell I would ever do business with these scam artists again. We haven't had any issues with our new windows yet, fortunately, but if we ever do, you can rest assured these guys will do absolutely nothing to help. Never, ever give them a deposit that might exceed the total cost of the work to be done. We have been due a refund of nearly 2,000 that I have been trying to get back since June 2015. After numerous failed promises to return the money, they have simply stopped responding to my emails and attempts to contact them. Do yourself a favor - choose a more reliable and honest business to work with than this. The time and stress involved in dealing with Tobin isn't worth it.
Horrible Customer Service !!!. No selection and bad attitude. I would definitely recommend to find other place to do business with.
