Avoid this city at all costs. Eloy Police on the lookout for some money. Freedom of Information Requests showed traffic tickets go to pay the police and the court staffs salary either directly or indirectly. This small town is racking up anywhere from 250k to 500k yearly in revenue directly to the city after the State takes their cut. They have less than 20 patrol vehicles and less than 20k residents.
