We were in the unfortunate position of having to take a 5 year old to the A&E department in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, we are on holiday and do not speak Spanish. The receptionist was so very rude to us on arrival and pretty much implied if we didn't speak spanish then tough, they wouldn't help us. We did manage to see the doctor and once through to the meet the nurse and doctors they were friendly and we muddled through with google translate.

I was admitted as an emergency to A & E after passing a frankly chaotic night, (felt so sorry for all the Dr's running around like headless chickens) i was admitted to the ward..........I was shaking uncontrollably (stupid I know!) at the age of 72 I had never been admitted to hospital anywhere.. The kindness and treatment I received was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot thank everyone enough. You are all wonderful from Dr Gonzales to all the nurses. THANK YOU GRACIAS Ward 8 R00M 809B

Excellent care both in ER and wards from doctors and nurses. Appointments may run a little late but that is because the doctors give each patient the time they require and it is simply not an in/out consultation.
