I travel to Ely for work a few times a year. This is the first time I ate at the Cellblock. Had a great Ribeye! Cool place.

Great experience and Great Food! Cellblock in now one of my favorite restaurants. This restaurant is absolutely different than any others. Our steaks and food were delicious and cooked perfectly. I recommend to go there for sure.
Stopped through and ended up waiting for food for a long long time, it also seemed like others after us were being served before. I would not reccomend this place. Not to mention to enter you must wear masks and have your temp taken... Yet across the hall you can gamble, smoke, drink... All without masks or a temp check. Hmm
I've had prime rib in five different places across the silver State and this place is by far the best! Clean but beautiful experience eating in the cells. The stuffed potato is incredible w the prime rib which is their speciality. Great beer and wine list. Awesome service from our waitress. Will be back!
A place to sit down and eat during the Great 2020 Pandemic. Great service, good food, not the best ribeye I've ever had but sometimes a meal is more than the sum of its parts. See that carrot there? That was a GREAT carrot. Lots of things on the menu, so we'll be back next time we're passing through Ely.
Fanciest place in Ely, Nevada When you're in a small town, your options are minimal and we really wanted a good steak after hiking all day. This place is themed and it's pretty amusing. You get to sit in cell blocks while you dine and it reminded me of something you would find at a theme park. Lots of fun details are all around this restaurant. The food was really good. Simple recipes with some great touches. Our steaks were very tender & flavorful and the cowboy beans were off the charts. They also serve a twice baked potato with a creamy, hollandaise sauce that you want to swim in afterwards. Side salads were fresh and the only thing I wouldn't order again is the shrimp cocktail which wasn't cold enough. Please stick those bad boys in or on some ice. Everyone is this little town is very friendly and like I said this is the fanciest place here. If I ever find myself in this town again I would come back and try something different because they have a lot of tasty looking options.

Loved this place. Ribeye and scallops were amazing. Beef barley soup and fresh spinach salad were excellent. The service was top notch and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Loved eating in a jail cell. It’s much more fun and private. We would definitely recommend and come here again.
