The phoenix is an incredible wooden roller coaster. It includes a drop that is thrilling but that is not even the best part ! The best part is the end where there are a series of small drops that have you litteraly flying out of your seat!

Great roller coaster.. your buttons rarely in the seat the whole ride.. old wooden coasters.. it’s only 3 dollar to ride.. The back seat jerks you the most, so sit in the back it’s the best

This is a must-do ride for my family! The dark tunnel at the beginning and the camel back hills (which toss you out of your seat!) make this a real thrill. My wife once said to hold my small daughter in her seat and not lose her - well that was good advice (I'm sure it was safe but it felt like she'd be falling out!).

One of my top 5 woodies! You need to sit in the first 4 rows and the last row. Seat three is the best for the bunny hops

Top 3 favorite wooden coasters. The airtime is incredible, especially in seat number 3.

A great piece of nostalgia from my childhood. It is still exciting after all of these years. The lap bars only close so much so as you hit those little hills, expect to lift out of your seat. Do not ride if you are fearful of your neck detaching.

Since it opened in 1985, I have ridden the Phoenix easily about 3,000 times, conservatively counting and am never disappointed. The entire park is wonderful. Always trying to improve, never complacent.
