Dr. Paula Mendez and her staff truly care about each one of her patients. They are all very warm and friendly. Considerate to your needs. Explain every detail and they are very patient. I was having sever pain and didn't have an appointment, but they worked me in on the same day. They even all stayed working late to help me in my time of need. I am forever grateful to all of them. They make you feel like your home and at ease. Like your family, not just another patient. They called followed up with me the next day after both visits. Just to make sure I was okay and if I had any questions. I absolutely love them and would recommend them in a heart beat! Thank you and God Bless!

I can't say enough good about EMC Endodontics, Doctor Mendez, and her staff! I am absolutely petrified of dentists and was very worried when I found out that I needed a root canal. However, from the moment I walked in the staff was reassuring and patient with me as I worked through some of my fear. They came up with a personalized plan to decrease my anxiety and let me watch Netflix while the procedure was performed. I did not believe her when she told me it would not hurt but she was right! Honestly the worst part of the procedure was the xrays in my tiny mouth and the rest was a breeze. I highly recommend them especially if you have a phobia of dentists like I do. I was sore last night (but honestly no more so than with a typical filling) and took some ibuprofen as directed, slept it off and felt perfectly fine this morning. Thank you EMC Endotonics!

I was referred to this office from my general dentist after my old root canal tooth randomly started causing me severe pain. They were so kind and understanding, and helped me book an emergency appointment immediately. I got there as fast as I could and was greeted with the most patient and friendly staff. Everyone was kind, explained every step of what to expect, and the office felt extremely safe and clean. Masks were required at all times they weren’t actually looking into your mouth, and temperature was taken at the beginning of each visit. I was super anxious during my root canal re-do and they offered “laughing gas” and really worked with me to put me at ease. Dr. Mendez-Montalvo is truly a professional with amazing bedside manners. Explained what needed to be done in a thorough yet succinct, easy to understand way, and nothing ever felt rushed even though I was an unexpected emergency appointment. They scheduled a follow up one week later, and then scheduled a 6 month follow up after that. Super recommend this office for all of your not-pleasant endodontist needs.

I was referred to EMC for a root canal by Portrait Dental. When I arrived, I immediatly noticed the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. It helped calmed me down before my procedure. Dr. Mendez is the best dentist I've ever had. She explained everything to me and was very compassionate. After my procedure, they followed up with me and I really appreciated that. I went for 2 root canals and one ended in a surgery because it was very calcified. Ftom the beginning to the very end the staff and doctor did an amazing job. Very professional, very informative, very patient in answering and addressing all my concerns. They are very flexible and take very good safety protocols during this pandemic. I highly recommend Dr. Mendez, she is excellent at what she does and will go the extra mile to accomodate you and make you feel comfortable.

With an abscess providing chronic pain during the pandemic and no cure on the horizon, my general dentist referred me to Dr. Mendez. This was in essence an effort to save a tooth that previously had a root canal many many years prior. The referral to Dr. Mendez and her very flexible staff was a God send. The work and technique during the procedure was just awe inspiring and painless! No fear of the sitting in Dr. Mendez chair now or in the future. They had very good protocols in place during the peak of the pandemic. I am pain free and she saved my tooth. Very grateful to Dr. Mendez and her first class staff!
