It takes a month or longer to see my primary. That is unacceptable. What they then offer, if one needs an appointment sooner than that, are literally newbies. Doctors, NP's or PA's who just got out of school, are located in various other offices --- and therefore have little or no experience in the bay area. So they are useless in referring patients to reputable therapists, specialists, etc. One of them referred me to someone so inept, that office staff rewrote the script --- for a reputable specialist. Thank you, office clerk, whomever you were. Maybe I should request that you be my new primary.

I’ve always been treated with the best care here, and I’ve found the staff from reception to nursing to physician and everyone in between to be very caring. I now bring my toddler here as well, and they take quality care of her as well. It is important to me to have the “old school” style of physician care (-and I do with Dr. Janet Arnesty and team) that cares for me as a whole person- and I feel I get this here, which is unique and very hard to find in today’s modern medical world. Kudos to the Stanford team at East Bay Family Medicine for all your hard work and for being both reliable and truly caring.

I'm over it. My PCP is Jodi Gorman and since being a member of Stanford Health Care under Jodi's care I've only experienced overcharged bills for required check-ins and having the hardest time getting my prescription filled on-time. I have one thing I need from this place: please refill my anti-depressants that I've been on for years. I've been told they will refuse to refill my prescriptions unless I come in for check-ups and then I receive a 500 bill for walking in and asking for them to please refill my prescriptions. Upon inquiring about why the bill was so costly, I was bounced around between departments and no one ever was able to come up with an explanation or match codes to what I was being billed for. Here I am again, waiting for them to respond to fill my prescription while I have to abruptly go off my anti-depressants for days. This place is a sham.

My review is exclusively for Dr. Rebecca Riseman, although I’ve never had any issues with this office or the Stanford Healthcare system. Dr. Riseman is the best primary care physician I have ever been to. She is very attentive and easy to talk to, and does an excellent job balancing professionalism with a personal connection. She is never in a rush, and handles your health with compassion and professionalism. She truly sets the standard for Primary Care physicians.
