First time staying here. We had a great experience. The rooms are nothing fancy, but it was perfect that way. Easy access with sliding back door to back deck. Our friends stayed in a beach cabin, which was nice also. Very large river access for an evening stroll. I enjoyed all the social interaction with the other vacationer's, but still could find plenty of quite spots. Everyone was so friendly at the resort and on the river. If you want maid service you just need to ask, we didn't want it. We did request new towels and our garbage taken out. The employee was super friendly. And the mix of rustic antique metal crafting was enjoyable to view all over the resort.

Really enjoyed staying at Jack Cabin at River Edge in Eminence, MO. Cabin was clean we had a grill, microwave, fridge,tv and coffee pot.King size bed was comfortable.Jack Fork water was low but we did kayak on it no problems. Nice town we restraunts and the gas station by us served food.

Perfect glamping getaway! The owners were so gracious and flexible with our reservation and the beach cabins were clean and so nicely built. We loved all the quirky metalwork that makes the property feel artistic and unique. Definitely coming back!

We stayed in the Spot Down Under a few weeks ago. 3 adults and 2 children. We liked the lay out of the suite as it allowed for the youngest child to go to bed and the rest of us could stay up. Space was good. There are quite a few stairs down to the room and then down to the river. If steps are an issue, might not be a good fit. The refrigerator and microwave were helpful to avoid eating all meals out. Some negatives: the smell of the rooms had a musty, closed up smell. Part of it is probably due to the fact that the floors, ceiling, and walls are all wood - makes for a nice cabin like feel but might contribute to that smell. We could smell the odor on our clothes when we got home. Biggest complaint is that after spending all day in the river two nights in a row we did not have enough hot water for showers. The hot water was gone after the 1 yo was given a quick rinse off and the 6 yo had a shower. Management advised us to wait for 30 minutes between showers. For the price of the room, I would expect to have enough hot water that you do not need to space out showers over a few hours. The people staying on the floor above us also told us they did not have any hot water. You are really paying for the location and the location was perfect. We will consider staying at this property again because the placement on the river is great. We stayed on the areas closer to the bridge and watched people on the rope swing. The next day we choose a place a little further away and it was perfect for the 6 yo (current was slower and the water deepth). Saturday the river was busy with everyone coming down the river and Sunday was much more calm. It was a great experience. I wish for the price the room would have been a bit better, but again the location was great.

Several people mention it is overpriced. As far as the rooms, yes they are overpriced but you are paying for the riverfront location. Yes, it is maybe 100 yds from the actual river but if you ever saw the Jacks Fork River flood, you would understand it is a necessity to not be too close to the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at River’s Edge Resort.

This place was exactly what I was looking for! Quaint river lodge with wonderful people in a beautiful area. We accidentally left a favorite stuffed animal in one of the beds and Lynette was kind enough to mail him home for us! Thank you so much for a wonderful mother/daughter adventure. We will definitely be back!

Nice little place. We stayed in one of their camping cabins. Pretty basic, but kept us warm for the night. Couldn't access the Wi-Fi, but it wasn't a problem for us.

We stayed in the “Spot down Under” In the main part of the resort. 4 adults and 4 kids stayed and the size was perfect. We were close to the water, rope swing and Windys canoe rental is right across the bridge. Williams Fast Stop which is steps away has yummy burgers and breakfast pizza. Dos Rios Mexican restaurant is within walking distance and we all enjoyed our meals. Fun metal art throughout the premises. Cute gazebo, fire pit and corn hole. Kids liked walking around exploring and swimming in the chilly Jacks Fork. The window AC units created a hum that let us all get a good nights sleep. Resort provided ample pillows and had great water pressure. We were happy with our choice to stay there from Kansas City and LaCrosse.
