Very nice cabins. Very nice New owners in July 20'. Duplexes are smoking all the rest are non smoking. Website reservations coming soon. Changes and updates going on.

Visiting the area for a family funeral. Rented one of the single cabins for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised. Cabin is clean and very nice. Twin queen beds and a shower. They do not have a stove or microwave. Small refrigerator and a 5 cup coffee maker. Satelite TV. Walking distance to the river. The grounds around the cabins is neat and clean. The beds are comfortable and we slept great. Right on the edge of town, so you are close to the stores and restaraunts. Wifi is free, but in the cabins it is a little weak. Would stay here again.
Went during off season, great rates & the cabins are far bigger than any chain room you'd see. Had a great time, thank you!
The cabins have some wear and tear. Stained carpet, loud AC units, kinda musty smell, everything needs updating. But nothing in Eminence is super updated. I’ve stayed in quite a few cabins in the area and they’re all a bit outdated. Beds and sheets were clean, bathroom and kitchen clean. WiFi available, only works on the back porch close to the office. (Not super important, but you don’t get great signal down here!) Nice area, close to the river but not in view. We usually come back and stay here because it’s a pretty good price for a large group, 5 queen beds in the large cabin and plenty of room. But every cabin and hotel in the area needs updated. Safe area. Lady that checked us in, not friendly. Guy that checked us out, very friendly. Hit and miss! Just giving an honest review hoping it helps someone!

We stayed in cabin 12 & 12B. They were extremely clean and well maintained. We also floated with Harvey's Canoe Rental. They will pick you up right in front of your cabin. Can't wait to go back and stay at Shady Lane.
Hotel very basic. I did not see the cabins, so this review applies to hotel only. No coffee, full ashtrays outside, beds were small and rickety, toddler size toilet . Has great potential but I did not enjoy my stay.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff!! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome!! Rooms were clean and nice!! Definitely returning!!
