The staff are so friendly! I went here the day after Thanksgiving because my doctor's office was closed. I was very happy with the care I received. There was a long line, but the wait wasn't too horrible. From the receptionist to the nurse to the PA, I was treated with courtesy and respect. I've been to other urgent care centers where you can tell that everyone hates their jobs and you're just an inconvenience to them. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. UPDATE - The staff called me two days after my appointment to see if I was feeling better. Definitely have never experienced that before! :D

First of all don't go there. All the bad reviews believe them. They will do nothing but argue with you. In my opinion the practitioner is not qualified I don't know what her problem is. But they will take your money and do nothing for you. The nurse came in asked me a lot of questions then the practitioner comes in starts asking me the same question. I asked her did you read the report from the nurse. I was very sick so naturally I started to get frustrated in my voice. The practitioner calls the security guard. She will get under your skin. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. I'm warning you don't go there believe what is written in all of the reviews.
Very upset with the way I was treated! I was treated like I am an antibiotic addict, I just know my body and I know what makes my throat better. The health providers are going a little far on the no antibiotic thing! Still no phone call about my throat culture that was done 3 days ago and still have a sore throat. Not happy!
The ladies working here are super friendly - 100% professional, I was in & out under 30 minutes - yes - I recommend "express care" to anyone having a minor medical issue... Remember it's a "Minor Emergency Room" so if you're having an "EMERGENCY" I would suggest the emergency room at "Newmen Regional Hospital" :-) ty
Place is a joke, treated me as though I was lying. Doctor was rude and condescending, nurse was incompetent. I injured my arm and leg. They said I had a non displaced fracture on my arm and nothing wrong with my leg. When I got home 1300 miles away and went to my own doctor, I had shattered my elbow(displaced several pieces) and cracked the fibula in my leg. Don't go here if there is anyway you can go somewhere else.
Had a friend go in with a high fever, neck and joint pain over the weekend, and the receptionist called her a drug addict, accused her of only wanting meds IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE WAITING ROOM!!!!! Not a very professional staff!! We are pretty sure the said receptionist broke a few laws. Would not go in there for any reason what so ever. The patient has probably never touched a drug as long as i have known her and probably her whole life. WELCOME TO EMPORIA EXPRESS CARE!!!!!!!!WORTHLESS, DISCRIMINATING AND JUST PLAIN OLD SHITTY WAY OF TREATING PEOPLE!!! Also took my dad in there few months ago and they were rude with him and told him there was no help for his stomach ache......Think it is time to fire your receptionist!!!!! Or close your doors if you can not, or just refuse to be civil and actually try to help citizens in pain!!! Disappointed with all things Newman!
