If a curry could sum up 2020 this would be it... Ordered a takeaway for our Christmas eve meal and feel totally disappointed, easily the worst chicken korma I have ever tasted my plate was literally filled with water , the poppadoms tasted like they were cooked in the same oil that they would have used last Christmas eve!!!. Safe to say most of it went in the bin .

Excellent food. We've not eaten in, but on each occasion that we've picked up a takeaway it has far exceeded expectations - and the appetites of those sharing the meal. The portions are a good size and we've yet to order anything that is not of a very high standard. As Spice Cottage is conveniently situated on our route to my elderly mother's home and can be relied upon to have the meal ready when we arrive will not be bothering to go elsewhere! And., hey, Mum gets to eat the leftovers too
