I have a great Sunday roast at the ship inn today. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We had the roast beef and the roast lamb and everything was tasty, fresh and very hot. Well worth a visit.

Great Sunday Roast. The small roast was plenty. Pleasant and fast service. No pictures of the food because it got eaten too quickly! Lovely beer garden.
Traditional pub. Pub food OK. Disappointing that bar staff were not wearing masks or visors, no sanitisers available and no attempt made to take contact details of customers. More attention needs to be made about cleanliness of cutlery, one fork was dirty. Staff were very pleasant.
So, The Ship Inn in Emsworth. Popped in for just a drink and stayed for lunch! We had the veggie nut roast and it was delicious. Everything you want from a Sunday roast and more. Staff were really lovely, prices very reasonable. Actually, could not fault it. Would recommend for a casual get together. The draught Amstel is especially good!! (booked a table for the following week! )
Came in yesterday just to have a coffee. Great service, member of staff was masked and encouraged us to check in to the NHS track and trace before sitting down, fast and friendly service. Coffee was also good and from a cafetière

Lovely dog friendly pub with a great menu. The roast dinners are great value for money and the veggie options are great too! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Really recommend!
