Popped in to have a look around after a few pints in the Sussex Brewery, what a treasure trove. Some unique wines are available at reasonable prices that you just cannot get anywhere else local. I will be returning very soon!
Very friendly and relaxed service from Jonathan. His knowledge and enthusiasm for wine are evident in abundance. Although there's not a huge selection of wines, after a short discussion about what you'd like, Jonathan will get the wines in to order, within a day. Also serve wine by the glass in a small courtyard, very pleasant on a warm summer's evening. The 5 evening wine course is highly recommended, as are the one off wine tastings.
An absolutely superb wine tasting experience - Jonathan was very friendly, and encouraging, despite our inexperience. Introduced to some amazing and unusual wines. Fantastic shop too - world-class knowledge and no interest in ‘up-selling’. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
