We had a great time with our scout troop. From hiking to the top with new scouts to exploring big rock, little rock and the cave at the top. We even had an opportunity to learn about Fairy Shrimp on the way down from a park ranger. This is a special place and deserves the highest rating. Would recommend scheduling 30 days in advance for both camping and day visits. Come early and don't assume you will get in if you just show up on a weekend.

Beautiful park! It offers a variety of trails, some easy and some challenging. The summit trail is a great work out. There's camping available and plenty of parking available. There's also restrooms and showers.

One of the most unique and interesting natural attractions in Texas - definitely one of my favorites! Make a reservation on the Texas State Parks website before coming. One complaint is the poor marking of the hiking trails in the park. While there are lots of arrows pointing the direction of the trail you are on, the signs for trail junctions do not show the names of the various trails. Other state parks have done much better.

A beautiful place to enjoy some day hiking and awesome views! Unfortunately half of the Loop Trail was closed for some reason but I still enjoyed all of the other trails. The bathrooms are clean. Entering the park is a breeze even during the pandemic and all of the employees are extremely nice. We didn't camp here overnight so I am not sure about that experience but visiting for just the day is great! Also, amazing for stargazing!!!

I really enjoyed my first visit to Enchanted Rock. I took the Summit Trail which is .8 miles to the summit. The climb starts off easy and gradually becomes a little more difficult as you go. The trail become steep as you ascend. Make sure to wear secure shoes; sandals or flip flops aren't gonna cut it. The summit is large and you have a great 360 view. Enjoy. And remember to zig zag on the trip down. It makes it easier.

Just a lovely park to visit. HOT during the summer and fall months. Be sure to bring plenty of water and proper sun coverage as shade is scarce here. Backpacking is excellent, stayed at one of the primitive spots and there was nice spacing from other campers and a toilet nearby (no running water though). Lots of trails to explore away from the crowds on the main summit trail. Beautiful desert flora and views.

This park is amazing! I have been twice. First time I paid a tour guide to take us out rock climbing. It was great! The second time I went on my own and went to the summit trail. Hiked to the top... I promise the view is worth it. So if you are into outdoors. Go for it!

Nice fairly easy hike, great views. We'll worth the effort. Hike the summit trail took about 20 minutes. Be sure you know where the trail down is , some places are rough terrain.
