Clay and Craft is a cute little studio tucked away behind Valentina in Leucadia. My friend and I did a clay class for two and had such a great time! I have some experience on the wheel but my friend had none. We both ended up with two pots that we love. I plan to go back and book some solo time on the wheel. :) We did this during Covid and felt it was very safe. Nicole answered all my questions and made us feel welcome in her studio. Her clay pieces are beautiful too!
Nice shop with a great instructor. Time really flys by fast. Can't wait to go back.
Love this studio! Just went in for a lesson with Nicole and she was so knowledgeable and sweet. I can’t wait to go back and throw on the wheel again! It’s so therapeutic and a great creative outlet definitely recommend checking it out!
Did an anniversary present for my wife & I, two person wheel lesson. It was a lot of fun! Definitely would consider doing it again.
We had a blast at one of Clay Craft's recent evening workshops to hand build a pottery piece. The owner, Nicole, spent time explaining the process of hand crafting and encouraged us all to put our desire for perfection aside and get creative. Under the guidance of Nicole and her assistant, we all had a lot of fun and felt proud of our pieces at the end of the night. It is very welcoming to all skill levels, offering as much or as little guidance as you need/want. She makes the experience both educational and informal... everything is set-up upon arrival and cleaned up for us at the end. All the guest needs to do is show up and have fun! I can't wait to see my final piece as we all get to pick a glaze and pick it up after she puts on the finishing touches. I have a new appreciation for pottery and the work that goes into professional pieces. In addition to the studio, Nicole's beautiful line of her own pottery is at the front of the store, on display for purchase. This was the perfect, fun night out with friends and to kickstart a new hobby for me. I will definitely be back for another class and to purchase some of her products!
Nicole is the best teacher!! I had a blast at one of her workshops recently and I love my cup that I got to make. This is an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone!!! I really enjoyed spending the time creating something that could last longer than myself. This is a wonderful time and I give her a 10 out of 10 and will do this again!!
Absolutely love this new pottery store and studio! They have very kind and accommodating staff, and lots of tools/options for people of any skill level to get creative with clay. They offer wheel classes and workshops, as well as uninstructed studio time, all for very reasonable prices. They also offer beautiful handmade pottery for your home. So thankful to have this business in Leucadia, and I encourage everyone to stop by!
