Do not go to Frog Fitness or Club One (owns Frogs). Member of Club One-Frogs Encinitas, CA. While in gym, fell because the equipment I was on malfunctioned ( a peddle lost traction). This was on a Starimaster machine on 1/16/13. Pedal slipped and I fell, hitting my right hand and it broke. I was casted on 1/23/2013 until 3/1/13. I paid 1550.62 to get my hand fixed, missed work from 1/23 to 3/1/13 and my baby finger on the right hand still is sore. The machine tech witnessed it, I filled out an incident report with the front desk and was told that in the contract that I has signed they were not responsible. The fine print states that even if you die at the gym they are not responsible. This was clearly a machine malfunction which the tech acknowledged verbally to me. They referred me to their insurance company, I hired a lawyer, the lawyer did nothing so now I am on my own trying to get restitution. Don't go to this gym, they do not care.

FITNESS EVOLUTON - rip off report! Ive tried to downgrade but because it was such a hassle I just wanted to cancel. I was told I had 30 days to use the gym in April before my account is officially cancelled. (I went in on time for the 30 day expiration.) NOW- They have charged yet for another month saying my cancellation is still pending? Doesn't seem right now does it? So the "pending cancellation" is bogus - its can be 2 months - who knows maybe 3- whatever they decide. This really gets me about these gyms. Frogs was so much better with billing.
The voice mail message said to leave a number and a brief message, but there was no tone for leaving a message. Then the message was simply repeated over and over making it impossible to contact Frog's Encinitas. (Who is Brett J.?)
