Moonlight Beach is truly one of thee most beautiful and extremely well maintained public beaches in all of California. Volleyball nets, fire rings and very clean restrooms are just a few of the amenities with top notch lifeguards always on duty. Very beautiful panoramic views of a large stretch of pristine golden state coastline.

One of my favorite beaches, my kids love the jungle gym. Very easy access and beautiful

Best overall beach in Encinitas. Perfect for people of all ages. Has everything! Volleyball courts, large concessions/food stand with beach rentals, main lifeguard Station/tower, wheelchair access to water, amazing cliff views, and a large city park playground, bathrooms and showers galore, both swim and surf areas, bonfire areas (limited). Can get VERY VERY crowded during the summer so get there early.

Nice quiet beach. I didn't realise service dogs weren't allowed but the rangers were very nice about it. I wish we could go back. I highly recommend.
