Working with Jandra has changed my life. I have struggled with not only pelvic floor issues, but Thyroid and GI health as well. I have seen many doctors and practitioners over the years; all of which have given me no insight and often left me feeling hopeless. I trust Jandra so much more with my health than any doctor I have ever met. Her education on nutrition as well as pelvic health have been invaluable to me and she is a true asset to the PT community. She is passionate about her work and uses an integrative and holistic approach to healing. I encourage anyone who might be out there struggling to know that there are people who can help you begin the road to recovery.

Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation has really changed my life! I’ve lived with a diagnosis of sciatica for 20 years. I’ve had lots of ortho PT, which helped minimally. My daughter has similar pain and was referred to a pelvic PT. She felt so much better, that she suggested I try it. I’m so glad I listened to her! I see improvement after every session. Katie, my PT, is fantastic! She zeroed in on my problem quickly, explains everything clearly, and has a great way of helping me visualize how to do my home exercises.

I was reluctant to try physical therapy after having pain and bladder issues for several years. Beginning at the first appointment with PHRC my therapist made me feel at ease. My recovery look time but the therapists I saw were all kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Best if all I saw results and am living pain free now. I would recommend to anyone who is having pelvic issues.

While I have not been a patient at the Encinitas clinic, I have been seen in San Francisco for many years. Not only has this special form of pelvic PT helped me climb out of the occasional pain relapse, it has helped me maintain a relatively pain-free life. Over the years I have seen several PTs, and without exception they are highly skilled and highly caring.

I haven’t had the opportunity of actually using this facility however the information they have made available has been very relevant to my circumstances. In the past I experienced, A very stressful event, a head on collision, and a UTI . Any combination of which eventually created debilitating pain in my groin. I experienced this pain at various levels for over 20 years without any real relief or explanation. Finally through self research I found Cleveland Clinic. This facility explained all about trigger points in the pelvic floor and how it can be felt in other areas of the male body all below the belt. I was fortunate to find a pelvic floor specialist in my area who has been using a soften, lengthen, and loosen strategy for the last few years. This site has given me valuable information with its postings that reinforce what my physical therapist has brought to mind

So grateful i found these people! Although my pelvic pain is an ongoing battle i made significant progress during my time with them, and learned so much in terms of techniques and exercises that i still use today. They’re highly skilled and knowledgeable!

It is not hyperbole to state that Stephanie Prendergast/PHRC changed my life! I had been from pillar to post, seen numerous doctors and health care practitioners, and had been down many blind alleys over the course of several years -- all without success. Stephanie and her referrals got me to the root of my issue. It was worth every minute of the many drives to Los Angeles over the course of six months. I cannot praise Stephanie enough and am forever indebted and am thrilled to learn that PHRC is opening in Encinitas.

I have pudendal neuralgia caused by a surgical procedure. When it first started I did not know how I could live through all the pain. Thankfully, after a lot of Drs and mistreatment I found a Dr who helped me, and then sent me to Stephanie Prendergast. Over the last 10 years Stephanie has helped me get out and mostly stay out of pain. If you are suffering, please go to get help here. It changed my life and it can change yours. Thank God for this care!!
