This center was AMAZING for helping the tween I mentor. While it's definitely not cheap as it is a business and not a charitable organization, if you can afford the rates your child will get a high quality experience. I was referred by an adult friend who got tutored here himself for a test he had to take. I found this center to be a great group of people who take great care to connect with the child in an effort to make them feel safe and talented enough to do well, which of course, is the first step to doing well! I believe they are currently offering both online and in-person sessions. They excel at both. Good luck!

The HLC of Encino is an amazing place. Both my daughters loved their teachers and benefitted so much from their tutoring. I have recommended it in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
My kids (in middle and elementary school) have made amazing strides thanks to the dedication and patience of their instructors at Huntington. Everyone has been professional and willing to adjust (whether it’s the schedule or curriculum) to make it all work.
I can't recommend Huntington Learning Center enough, especially if you are feeling like you need an emotional coach as much as a tutor.
Nothing ever lives up to 5 stars. After a few months here, we were really happy with the results. The communication was great and they really helped our kids. Great teachers and staff and they also communicated with school. Strongly recommend this place.
Huntington is a great opportunity to allow your child to explore areas of school work, grow in knowledge and understanding of diverse subject matters. Huntington provides an ideal learning environment as well as great tutors who do a great job at teaching students and are very kind to new visitors. Fransiscus is a very good math tutor and he definitely is an ideal math instructor. Thanks Huntington!
