Perhaps other WIN inspectors are better, but we trusted our WIN home inspector (David Ahmadi) with the biggest investment of our lives and were completely mislead. During the initial phone call, he agreed to perform radon and lead-based paint testing, which were later absent from his report. When we inquired about this, he offered to perform these for an additional 300. Although we were annoyed, we dropped the issue since our inspection period was over anyway. The purchase was completed and since moving in two weeks ago, we have found several serious omissions ranging from inoperable appliance, water damage, gas leaks and potential foundation problems. Our inspector has insisted that everyone makes mistakes, but the abundance and severity of the issues indicates a lack of professional responsibility.
