The Desertfox

Moved my big bank auto loan to ECCU because they had a better interest rate than my initial loan. The transfer process went smooth and I was able to reduce my interest rate by over 1.5% before I even had to make the first payment. So far so good.... then I went to go make my first payment. I added an external checking account to use when making the payment, then I tried to make a payment. Just before I hit submit I noticed that they were going to charge me a 30 processing fee!?! 30 to make a loan payment??? That's an additional 13% of my payment to \process\ the loan payment. So much for saving on my interest rate. In any case, what kind of company charges a processing fee to make a loan payment. Maybe it's just me but I've never had a loan that charged a processing fee when paying with a bank account, external or not. Buyer beware!!

Went in opened an account. A few months later chatted with them on the online chat. Explained my desire to refinace a vehicle for a better rate. I gave my current credit score and was told it was no problem. Filled out a loan application to refinance after my credit went up. They denied me for credit useage (800 out of 13000) and a few medical collections under 3000 all older than 4 yrs. So my review of my experience is they lie at every trun to get your money then dont behave like a credit union. Same credit score was approved at 2 other credit unions the same day after that denial. Notice all others here have 1 review and don't say much. Think someone bought some reviews on here.
