From the jump, every person I worked with at Castle Express was a pleasure. Penny was clear on the process and helpful in getting the move on the books. I was told the guys would arrive between 9 and 10AM on Move day. At 8:30 they called to let me know they would be here at 9:30 and that is exactly when they arrived. Each of the crew introduced themselves and was extremely polite and professional throughout the process. This is the first time I have hired professional movers and it couldn't have been a better first experience. Big thanks to Tom, Kevin, Jesse and Mike for being a phenomenal and very entertaining crew! I hope i don't have to move again for a long time but if/when I do, I will definitely call Castle Express again!

I’ve moved many times and this was the worst with the combination of ridiculously pricy and unprofessional crew. Very slow: took half hour just folding blankets in the truck, one of the three guys was on the phone texting 1/3 of the time, literally; damaged my furnitures - chipped the top of my chest in bedroom(the guy denied it at destination when I spotted it because they padded it), scratched the surface of my ping pong table which we bought new last year (I caught the guy dragging the pingpong table going up on basement stair and had to ask and explain why he needed to lift it up.); broke the desk from my son’s room, etc etc. Some were found days/weeks after the move. Due to the very unpleasant communication with the owner which I still yet to have recovered from, I didn’t reach out after the move about the new findings of damages made. I will swallow the replacement/fix cost so we don’t need to deal with such rude people again to further our bad experience. But I do want to let folks out there know, how terrible this moving service could be in case you get unlucky with them as we did. ------------- Added to original review above after seeing response below which is exactly why I didn't reach out after the move. I don't want to waste more time on this, but to provide more facts and some pictures: 1. the cost of my move was 1295 from a small 3 bedroom house (1523 sqft), without special equipment for piano moving. 2. DO care about the estimates number because it would be the moving staff's goal to beat, regardless the actual work left and actual number of people do the move on the moving day. In our case, we have been moving smaller stuff/boxes everyday on our own until the moving day and ended up joining the moving force. Lastly, things are in the eyes of beholders - what kind of mentality would think of moving as con game.

This company is top notch, from start to finish. Communication about fees, scheduling, process was professional, immediate and useful. They use state of the art technology to create a unique service order, and the contract was clear and reasonable. Prices fair. Suggestions and reminders sent leading up to the move day, which helped me prepare perfectly for moving day. The movers were professional and friendly, on time. They packed up oversized mirrors for me. They worked swiftly, yet were SO careful with my stuff--at times these big dudes were carrying a huge load at a brisk pace, only to slow suddenly and walk on twinkletoes bc they were gingerly easing a piece of furniture through a doorway, careful not to bang anything. They even gave their opinion when I asked where I should place things! They finished within their estimated time frame. Can not recommend this company enough!

My husband and I moved from Connecticut to western New York state, and we are very glad we selected Castle Express as our mover. Penny was wonderful to work with, always responded quickly and answered any questions we had. The gentlemen who moved us, Tom and Kevin, were courteous and very professional. They worked quickly but took great care with our belongings. I would highly recommend Castle Express!
