DO NOT GET A COVID TEST HERE! THEY DO NOT WALK YOU THROUGH IT. I WAS TOLD TO RO MY WINDOW UP AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON PAPER. I went to the cvs on Boston Rd in Springfield and the gentleman was professional and literally we had eye contact throughout entire test. walked me through it and timed it as well. I explained to him what had happened at this store he shook his head and said that is completely wrong.

I went there today. I was bitten by a dog and needed a tetanus shot. I was nervous going there because of the COVID debacle now going on. The nurse, Kaitlyn, was very knowledgeable and very nice. This was a no stress, successful appointment. I would not hesitate to go there again and recommend to my friends!

I have never in my life rated something a 1, but this experience was pretty awful. The nurse I had was Shadana Smith-Grant, and she was rude and condescending. I explained that I was a teacher and there was a lot of cases of strep going around and that I had similar symptoms. Her response was “wow you look way too young to be a teacher. The kids must not respect you.” It was a totally uncalled for comment. Then she did one test and said I was fine. I later went to my PCP and they diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection: so much for “fine.” To make matters even worse, I had recently gotten married and had all new insurance information, which she messed up. I was then billed a large bill saying my insurance doesn’t cover this (which it does), but Shadana Smith-Grant had failed to do the insurance information correctly. This was back on February 26th, 2020, and I finally just got this information with my insurance figured out TODAY. I would not recommend going there, especially if this specific nurse is working.

The online scheduling system is easy to use. I had to cancel and then book again, and that was no problem. I hate kiosks, but the one they use is as user friendly as any. We were able to be seen within minutes of our appointment. The nurse was very good with my kids. I told her my son has a history of cellulitis, so she did a double alcohol swab to be extra clean. The adhesive bandages used for shots are the kind that go on before the shot, which takes one wave of fight out of the process. The amount of typing into the computer she had to do to get us registered was reasonable. She was very tolerant of my 5- and 8-year-old boys wanting to play with all the fun medical equipment. The day before when I had visited to meet someone in person to see if I can trust this location, I had interacted with a different nurse. Than nurse was also very good to deal with. I asked one or two questions, and she could tell I wanted details, so she elaborated on things without me having to ask and without me feeling rushed. Overall, a very positive experience.
