Unprofessional. Hairdresser didn't turn up and didn't get in touch to cancel. I'd booked the previous day. Got there on time with difficulty (it's hard to find and no signposting) only to be told that hairdresser wasn't coming in for 2 hours. Receptionist suggested that this was my fault as she 'didn't have my phone number to confirm so wasn't sure if I was coming or not'. Nobody asked for my number when I booked the appointment. Definitely can't recommend this place. Thanks for your reply. I completely understand that you were unable to be there and it's unfortunate that you forgot to take my number at the the time of booking. However the receptionist in no way made this clear. She said you cancelled because you were unable to confirm the appointment with me on the day. Not because you had an emergency/more pressing engagement, just 'she's not coming in til 1'. Nor did she explain why she wanted to take my number- my understanding was that it was so you could contact me to re-schedule. And I think you can understand why I wouldn't want to in those circumstances. From my point of view it was a frustrating waste of mine & my family's time.
