Repairs were good, but worst customer service I ever experienced. AVOID AVOID AVOID Started off with pick-up and drop-off delayed without notice for several hours, glue residue on the seats on delivery and no-one coming to clean it off, and has now culminated 2 months after repair in the discovery that they did not put the security lock wheel nut back into the car. When calling I was told "we have several laying around in the office, you will need to come and pick it up". My car was in another garage, and they refused sending someone with the selection of wheel nuts they have "laying around" on a 20 minute drive to deliver to the other garage. I wonder if stealing wheel nuts and then keeping them "laying around" in the office is standard practice.

I have to say, I was apprehensive about these guys due to all the bad reviews HOWEVER I found them to be amazing! I had a courtesy car for the full 5 weeks they had my car (which was a brand new Polo), and my car was delivered better than before the break in! I was also kept informed every step of the way. Thank you Spraytech! Great service and friendly staff. Would be happy to send my car there again :) (Don't believe all the bad reviews.........people will always tell the world about a bad experience, yet keep it to themselves when they get great service! Hence I took the time to post my review!)

I would have rated this company 0 star if I could, whatever you do, avoid this place. Their customer service is appalling! My car has been with them for almost a month, and after weeks of waiting and constant phone calls with no information being given to me and being told my car will be with me in the next couple of days or by the end of the week (week after week), I finally get told I can collect my car. I then get told that it will be delivered on Monday which I then call them to get an estimated delivery time as I have received no information. I get told that when the driver is on his way I will get a ring. I called again as it was way past midday and yet still no phone call, I get told the car is still in the workshop and when it is ready they will call me. I voiced my distress to the receptionist and she has the cheek to say 'why are you calling every day?' well frankly my dear I am calling because your service is terrible, you should be providing me with the information, I should not be chasing you. I am currently in talks with Admiral who passed my car on for repairs to deal with their appalling service. Additionally, I've complained to Admiral previously about this company when they first received my car. I was promised a courtesy car the day of my accident (bearing in mind they had my car first thing in the morning). I requested to have one asap, but they failed to deliver that day and they then promised I would receive one first thing the next morning. The following day, no car turned up as apparently 2 cars came back damaged. I complained to Admiral and they then contacted them to ensure I was mobile. Admiral instructed me that they did not follow correct procedure for when a courtesy car is not available. Please, please, please do not put yourself through the misery and headache that Spraytech put me through.

A truly terrible experience. This is the 'Fawty Towers' of the garage world. I would never use them again! Their customer services is absolutely appalling. They never answer their phones or respond to answer phone messages. Even making a personal appearance didn't motivate them to focus on the customer. It was a while before they even acknowledged I was there (even though they didn't appear to be doing anything) and even then they were totally unhelpful! As for the job to be done, my car was taken into them on the advice of Admiral car insurance. Initially a completion date was given which came and went without any explanation. Tried ringing them countless times without success. Eventually got Admiral to intervene which produced several other delivery dates which again came and went without any explanation. Eventually the car was delivered after about a month but had to go back twice because the repair hadn't been done properly. Use this garage at your peril. I would definitely give them a minus rating if it was possible. Everything written about them actually flatters them!

Unhappy Customer

This company is a joke. Took my vehicle in for repair after a non fault accident. Kept the car for over a month providing me with one excuse after another despite initially saying that it will take 3 to 5 working days. When finally the vehicle was returned it had mysteriously developed a fault which they claimed has nothing to do with them. I showed them their checklist which confirmed that the car was in full working order when delivered but they kept on insisting that it is a coincidence. Eventually they have agreed to have a look at the car only to keep it for another week and return it without sorting the issue out. Arrogant throughout the process. Please avoid!!!

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Their customer service is appalling! My van has been with them for five weeks now for just minor frontal damage to the bumper and grill. After weeks of waiting and constant phone calls with no information being given to me and constantly being told my van will be ready tomorrow by the end of the week (week after week), I finally get told my van was ready it was being cleaned and will be delivered later that day. When I rang and finally got through to reception as it was nearing the time of delivery I was told it had just left paint and was now in the oven. I went ballistic with them. My insurer LV have now intervened retrieving all typed telephone conversations confirming their constant lies about a completion date in order for us to pursue a claim against them for hire charges to our replacement vehicle. As I’m writing this they have yet again promised my van will be delivered today. I have just received a telephone call from LV stating that the garage rang me this morning stating that I told them I would not be available to receive my van this afternoon and that I told them to deliver it tomorrow instead – yet more lies….I would have rated this company 0 star if I could, whatever you do, avoid this place at all cost. How they have managed to scrape contracts with various insurance companies is a mystery!

The recommended repairer by my insurance company AXA following a no fault insurance claim. I was reluctant to use Spraytech (my preference was to use my local garage), but AXA convinced me the process would be much easier through Spraytech as by using them the repair was pre-approved. I rue the day I agreed to go there as six weeks later and after chasing continuously I still haven't had my car repaired and returned. The latest Spraytech excuse being the car is now scheduled for "Geometry" testing next week and therefore they can't give me a date for return until this is complete, this is despite last week promising me I would get the car back at the end of this week. A really poor company with no company care. I have complained to AXA
