DO NOT VISIT THE CAFE!!!! I came for a trial shift at this cafe a while back and had the worst experience. I was repeatedly insulted by the chef throughout the day and told I was too slow, and 'to use my brain for once in my life' in front of the customers. I was ignored, pushed and shoved around the kitchen. I was not given any clear instructions so I had to keep asking my co-workers for help but none of them seemed to care and told me to speak with my manager who was not even on site most of the day. If I made a small mistake none of my coworkers watching would attempt to correct me or support me until I was yelled at by the chef or manager (despite not being given ANY clear instructions not even a colleague to shadow) Every time I would clear a table and bring the dishes to the kitchen manager would mutter something under her breath and shove past me as if I didn't exist. I almost broke down whilst serving the customers as I was given no support and felt so unwanted and out of place. Came back home that day crying, of course no call saying whether I got the job or not which i'm thankful for as I would have refused. Its now 6 months later and it still bothers me the fact that I was treated so horribly. My only regret is not walking out earlier after being verbally bullied and humiliated by the chef. I'm writing this review as I want to warn any potential staff or anyone applying for a role at this cafe, please AVOID AVOID the cafe. And to the chef, managers and staff who treated me bad, i'm now thriving in a completely new role with managers and coworkers who respect me, and treat me like I exist :)

Good quality plants. Cafe nice but no Sunday roast. And got my wife's order wrong. Best for a coffee and bun. Worth a visit though.

The management couldn’t have been more helpful to me! They offered to order in plants on my behalf and kept to their word that they’d call me as soon as they arrived. Simon gave me tips on how to look after them too. Top service. Highly recommend.
