After a company event, we had 17 extra Panara meals. I was concerned that these were going to have to be dumped. Fortunately, I was able to call House of Hope and they cheerfully accepted the donation. When I arrived 6pm, it was raining hard. I waited front of the house. When the rain slowed I got out and BANG - there was a person to help me. They must have been watching me from the window. Anyway, super grateful and friendly and very appreciative. I helped bring in the rest, signed the guest book. Said HI to the adorable kids running around and left. There was so much positive energy in that house. God Bless. If ANYONE has any extra ANYTHING, seriously consider these kind people.

These places are supposed to help victims and provide some sort of assistance. Hahaha yeah ok, I’ve been hung up on transfered, passed of to the next agency, given references to places that don’t call back. Don’t waste your time they don’t help at all. You’d be better off saving yourself time and save yourself as they don’t care and don’t actually provide any type of service than talking on the phone with you and “counseling” do yourself a favor and save yourself because no one ACTUALLY HELPS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS OR VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE. Nope they just hang up on you when you really have no where else to turn.

I helped with a cereal donation drive. After dropping off the cereal, one of the workers gave us a tour. They do a lot of good things for families in need.

Went to drop off a whole bunch of clothes to find a sign saying they only accept new clothing, no used clothes. Easy enough to find someone else to appreciate them, but disappointing.
