The new owner of the store is very customer friendly. The young man name Major is very informative about the products. 4 stars for now. Will update. Update: Call to place a late evening order for the horses and goats. 30 minutes late went to pick up product, the owner had everything ready to go. He has all my animal info on file so that made it so much easier to pull up, pick up and go. 5 stars for outstanding customer service and animal knowledge and family environment.

Real friendly, great quality hay. However, i have not had great luck picking up a cowboy here!

A friend of mine recommended Cowboy Trading Company earlier this year because I injured myself and needed to purchase layer feed. (I normally grind my own.) It was high quality feed at better prices than I could get elsewhere. I needed hay and found the quality and price better than what I had been paying. I am back to grinding my own feed but would highly recommend their feed and hay to anyone. As to the staff and service. It is personal and friendly. If you like to hang out and chew the fat while you are there, no place is better. Country is spoken there.

I don't know much about horses except for which end is front and which end is the back. Most of the clothing was on sale (belts were 50% off and boots were 40% off in July of 2016). They also had jeans in skinny ladies sizes. Didn't notice any men's wear. The lady behind the cash register said it was because they are going to become mainly a tack and feed store. As I said before, I don't know anything about farm animals but the prices for the handmade saddles were much less than I thought they'd be. There's a large open warehouse of feed and stuff off the main store area. I used the services of the leathersmith (is that a word? The guy who makes stuff from leather). He made a belt just like a picture I brought in. It only took a few days and the price was very reasonable. Everyone I encountered at the store the few times I went in (staff and customers) were very friendly and personable. I'd definitely shop here again if I ever needed anything farm or leather related.
