We had such a good time driving the trails and seeing all the beautiful bluebonnets. It was a gorgeous day so it was a perfect day! I highly recommend Sugar Ridge Winery, the wine is delicious and the drive had tons of bluebonnets to see. (Also, thank you to the owners of the beautiful Belgium horses for putting food out for people to feed them. Such a fun experience!) Can't wait to do this all again!

We enjoyed this a lot. The flowers were great last weekend. The festival was fun, not too crowded, and very inexpensive. The trails were great if you could find them. The map was really difficult to follow, as it didn't relate to the real world well. But we spent several hours driving around the countryside around Ennis. It was nice that there were places in and around Ennis that were set aside for people to be able to get out into the flowers and take photos. Unfortunately, that didn't stop some people from trampling private fields and doing really invasive things like feeding people's horses. It was a lovely day, and we appreciated the information on the website, which helped us to know when was the time to drive in from Odessa.

The Ennis Bluebonnet Festival was a lot of fun. There were a lot of vendors to browse. From jewelry to food to art, there's something for everyone. There were definitely Bluebonnets along the trails. It was a great way to spend a Saturday.

The bluebonnet fields are breathtakingly beautiful! We did trails can do in car today... tomorrow, the walking trails. The vendors and staff at Festival were very sweet and informative on trails to view at this time. Nearby railroad museum and visitors center, worth the trip too.

The festival event was a bit disappointing. Not the same happy vibe as 2019 (cancelled in 2020). Had to pay an entry fee this year, basically for the privilege to shop the vendors. Very long lines at food trucks. There was no live music on the stage during the entire time we were there Sunday afternoon. Most entertaining part of the festival was watching the barnyard animals at play. If they continue to charge admission, we won't be going back next year.

Drivable trails. Lots of Photo and picnic opportunities. Bit crowded. The festival had decent food and live music.

Understandably smaller this year but with a good representation still. There was also a paid entrance which was new to me. The flowers weren't abundant as the previous years as well, and I believe the snow storm might have contributed to that. Yet, it's a charming city and the whole experience was very pleasant.
