Great place where the old (or more aptly the very, very old, meets the new and contemporary. A nice slice of of antiquity, adorned with the myths and stories of a time gone. Drop by and check the incredible acoustics of the ancient theater, and maybe even try your hand at reciting something profane or just vulgar and funny, you know to see the reaction of those around :)

Beautiful place with great history! I visited it for the second time and it's still amazing! Entry definitely worth it!

One of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Awe inspiring ancient theatre. If you are nearby in the summer don't miss a performance of ancient drama.

Amazing to think how these must have been built. 12 euros entrance for adults. Cafes and restraints on site. Toilets also

For sure the best open theatre i have ever visited. It is amazing to attend a play there. Its acoustic is amazing, no microphones are needed. The only disadvantage is the seats. Do not forget to get a pillow with you.

To visit this amphitheater was a really exciting experience. We saw a play we didn't understand as it was in greek but to sit there admiring this masterpiece to a setting sun in the mountains was a real treat. Highly recommended!

Awesome. Beautifully restored to function. Capacity for 14000. Close your eyes and feel the souls of those that sat in that same seat over the 1000s of years.

Very impressive site with a very well preserved theater. The grounds are covered with other ancient sites in various states. They have started to reconstruct certain structures.
