It's a lovely location. It's a shame the building is not fully restored yet. There are some open days / tours one can book as well as some events (not at the moment, obviously, with the lockdown) which I would like to try, to get a look inside. Meanwhile I can only comment on the grounds: from the entrance you cross over the M25 and you're out of greater London, looking over rolling hills. It's a lovely walk.

Fabulous active restoration project of this Georgian Stately home, with so much history behind it. The work of the volunteers so far is truly epic, but much more remains to be done. So your support is important. The grounds and fabulous walled garden are now functionally restored and in production of a wide range of plants and fruit. These are worth a visit by themselves. Really enjoyed our afternoon here and the refreshments are good too

A wonderful house and garden including a walled vegetable garden. This site is being renovated and tended by volunteers. If I lived nearer I would definitely want to be involved. This was my second visit and can't wait to go back.

First time visiting this estate. I loved the walled garden - such a hidden gem, totally took my breath away as I entered it from the top corner near the potting sheds - just wow!
