My husband and I have been having therapy with Elke for a few months and things have been going really well. Elke is very understanding and will work to meet your needs, for us this meant having less frequent sessions as our finances didn't allow to see her weekly. Both my husband and I have developed our emotional intelligence with surprisingly quick results since starting our sessions. We are both now at the point of looking forward to our fortnightly sessions, and we work hard to put into practice the exercises that Elke gives us. We did come into this with some reservations regarding whether our difficulties were fixable and in whether or not it was worth spending money to talk to someone. We were worried that a long time would pass and we would still be in the same situation. My husband and I are now delighted that we made the effort and we both think the positive effects on our relationship have been worth every penny. I have frequently recommended therapy and Elke especially to friends. For anyone thinking of starting relationship therapy with Elke I highly recommend trying a couple of sessions with her and seeing if this works for you. Couples therapy does require both partners being able to work with the therapist and to deeply reflect on their own behaviours. My husband and I have worked hard with Elke to understand ourselves and put into practice what we have learned, Elke understands this process well and is very frank, open and non-judgemental.

Elke Grolig is fantastic at helping you navigate your relationship when you hit an impasse and can't work out how to sort it yourself. She is warm and explains different psychological viewpoints so that you can pin point where you both are coming from. She is impartial and does not take sides. She just creates a safe space for you to express how you feel to each other without it being confrontational. We would highly recommend her.
I was having problems in my marriage, I look at this Elke she had 5 starts and everything I thought she is good ,we book a appointment to see her ,3 or 4 sessions was just OK,. The last session she talk separately with her and me ,what she said to my wife my marriage is going apart because of her words for my wife. She said to my wife THAT WE ARE FROM DIFFERENT PLANETS AND WE COULD NEVER BE TOGETHER ,and now because of this words she said marriage is broken, I still don't understand how she can say something like this ,when you coming for a help ,and not for help to break the marriage. This woman don't know her job and she could not do this job at all AVOID ALL COST.
If you are having relationship issues or sexual problems I highly recommend going to see Elke . She's fantastic at getting to the root of relationship dynamics and supporting both men and women to talk openly. She is a great person to work with - very experienced and highly qualified.
