I popped in to purchase a waterproof mascara by Maybelline called the Falsies. It is brilliant. My lashes are short and this mascara gives you longer eyelashes without having bits and causing allergies. This is my second purchase of this product and recommend it to people with short lashes.
I'm writing a review as a former employee, many years ago so hopefully things have changed. The manager at the time (Liam Millar) was extremely unprofessional, I was only a 17 year old student on 3.90 an hour or something awful like that, only working a 4 hour saturday shift as that was all that was open for me. Anyway. I was expected to contribute 4 to buying walkie talkies for his use, (one for him, one for the till) just to save him 4 seconds from walking to the till in such a tiny store. I don't think that was fair considering that was a whole hour of my measly salary. Not only that, but I was searched upon exiting each shift, there was this degrading 'wheel of fortune' to search either shoes, pockets, locker or bag.... surely this wasn't part of store procedure? Staff were expected to push the sales of stingy nearly-expired-non-refrigerated chocolate bars on the till, with absolutely no other reward incentive other than 'your name is at the top of the chart'. I'm glad I only worked there for 6 months. Liam even left before I did, so many he also had enough.
Good choices
Very disappointed because I tried to collected a present at 5:30 but the shop was closed when the closing hours clearly state the shops shuts at 6:00. Very disappointed.
I tried to get my click and collect purchase at 17:40 today and the attendant refused to open the door for me, although the opening hours is until 18. A shame because I had a present to be given tonight with that order and paid parking for nothing. Very frustrating
