Steady improvement from Epsom, was helped at a desk, after short wait-was asked what I needed to do today rather than \how can we help\ in the que but the lad seemed friendly and sincere. Once inside I was assisted with various banking needs that needed doing. Karen @Epsom Barclays really is exceptional and seems to be useful to work as cashier,personal banker, or helping customers in store. Good work Epsom hope other branches follow your lead

I arrive this morning to bank cash for a business, I have coins that need banking too, their automation service has been blocked from taking coins, and unknown to me the cash desk is not open until 10am. I arrive at 9.45am. So I am informed that I have to wait 15 minutes! I left with the coins - as I don't have time to wait that long - yet the coins still have to be banked If the bank is open, I think it is perfectly reasonable for a customer to expect the cash desk to be open at the same time. If the bank doesn't offer an automated banking facility, then even more so the cash desk should be open. I am continuously disappointed by Barclays. I have actually made yet another formal complaint about Barclays who clearly lack any kind of customer care and fail to do what is in the best interests of the customer.
Such a long wait for a quick thing... Only 1 person serving who takes her time literally whilst 3 people in the queue are waiting to be served. Not everything can be sorted in self-service area
The back office staff should be replaced by automated apps as they can't think outside the box anyway also their customer service manner is very poor. The bank will save money by not having them and made me rethink if I should bank with them. At least with services on on their app feature I can appreciate the limitations in service offerings. The \Financial Adviser\ Robert Blair who had an attitude problem for whatever reason needs to be taught manners and customer service etiquette, this alone was so poor never mind the lack of financial knowledge. Overall bad experience.
