This agency is a joke. I have rented a property from them in Sutton. I lived there for almost five years. During that time they were unhelpful with absolutely everything. I rented an unfurnished flat yet on arrival it was full of old furniture. I argued with them for 1 month to take the furniture away, eventually I had to remove it myself. Whatever the problem I reported (and I do not report much since I tend to try fix things myself first) it either did not get done or took ages to resolve. So I stopped calling them completely, just fixing things then sending them receipts. At some point there was a leak in the ceiling in my bedroom. I had a cot with a toddler almost exactly underneath the leak. It took the agency / maintenance 6 months and 3 visits to fix the leak! So the toddler was sleeping in a room with fungus for almost 6 months. Every year they called to extend the tenancy agreement and asked to pay a fee which was higher every year. To change the lock on the front door I had to hire their locksmith for which I had to pay obviously much more than if I did this myself. Then they lost the new key so whenever they called to arrange a "checking" visit I had to take a day off from work. Many times I did take a day off and no one showed up. At the end they took more money for the last month of rent due to the mess in their papers. Member of staff to mention Kerri-Ann - she was very cooperative when needed additional information to help new tenants, otherwise very deceitful. Stay clear.

Even though I did not find a property through them , they were extremely helpful throughout and always had a friendly and positive approach. Would recommend to any of my friends or family.
First time of using Gascoigne Pees to let my flat and the people dealing with me were dynamic, enthusiastic and effective throughout the entire process. The package covered everything, all my emails were answered quickly, and issues resolved speedily. Both members of staff were helpful and approachable, overall everything handled well.

I visited UK for short period of time and I was interested to stay at a place where I have my own Kitchen for cooking and the place should be in my budget. There you go, i found the adv of Gascoigne Pees. The people here are very helpful, they would hear you and try to make every possibility to meet your requirements. I am very happy dealing with Gascoigne Pees. In future if i would visiting this place, they would be my first contact point.
Gascoigne Pees Epsom branch is, by far, the worst estate agents I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. The purchase of my property went ahead despite their incompetence, however their dealings were so bad that at one point they did make me question the purchase of my property. It took over 6 weeks and multiple calls and emails to get our property off right move. I heard every excuse under the sun, even blaming it on the fact their offices had moved to India, and I was told by multiple staff, that the property would be taken down off right move within 24 hours. In the end, after 6 weeks it got so bad, I threatened to pull out of the purchase and fortunately I got a lovely man named Matthew, who actually worked for a different branch, who took the property down within the hour. It seems that the fault actually laid with their system, despite their excuses. We asked our epsom agent, how much the service charge was and he informed us it was 1600 a year. However, when we received the contract we discovered the service charge was actually 2300, a difference of 58 a month. To be so grossly misinformed is not acceptable. Even getting a viewing for the property my partner had to send two emails and chase up. You would think they didn't want a sale! When we tried to book a second viewing they booked another viewing so close to ours, we had limited time to walk around, and my family members who were running slightly late didn't even get the opportunity to see it. The only thing they did do was allow us to get some measurements taken for shutters whilst our surveyor was there. However, I had to argue tooth and nail for this also. It is my understanding an estate agents is meant to help with the selling and purchase of a property, in my opinion Gascoigne Pees Epsom did nothing but hinder our purchase. When we come to resell it will certainly not be with them.
