This was my first time seeking help so wasn’t sure what to expect. Firstly I found him on a website called ‘bark’ where he advertised his services at 50/hour but when come to, he charged 70/hour which my partner had decided to pay thinking the price would reflect the quality of service however no explanation was given for the price increase. I had 2 sessions before deciding I no longer wanted to work with him, at which point I had already paid a sum of money for a multi buy discount, this proved extremely difficult to get back from him which stressed me out hugely considering it wasn’t my money, it had come from someone wanting help for me. In total I paid 210 for 2 hours of service, and getting the rest of the money back was more difficult than expected. After agreeing to one amount he then decided to charge an extra hour on top, due to terms that hadn’t been discussed so I was not aware of. I only found out about the price change once the refund had been processed. Overall I am immensely upset and angry at how I have been treated being younger and vulnerable. There were also several other smaller problems, including lack of communication and organisation, which made me feel uncomfortable to work with him. Therefore, I would strongly advise not to work with Liam Atwal, I don’t want him taking advantage of anybody else in need of help.
