We started working with Bill a couple months ago, top of the chimney needed repairs due to cracking and broken brick. Quoted us a price and was back within a week to get the job done. Previous owner had no cap so we had to order one, took two months to come in and Bill came back out to put it on at no extra charge! Other big companies told us they were a month out for scheduling services and Bill came within a week each time we called. His scheduling is a little unconventional perhaps but he’s very responsive and keeps you updated on when he can come to your home. Will definitely be using him in the future!

Horrible experience. We were back and forth for over a week about when he would show up. Then he shows up and it’s dark out. He barely got his ladders off the van on his own. He removed the chimney cap for both our chimneys even though we told him which one we wanted cleaned. Then he couldn’t get the caps back on properly. He left them like that. He “cleaned” the wood stove and stack but didn’t put it back together. Then when we had to fix his work WE ended up actually cleaning the stack and all the soot he brushed down. The icing on the cake- the chimney cap came off because he couldn’t get it back on properly. I do not recommend him. While cheap you get cheap work.
They did a wonderful job relining my chimney. Bill Higgins is very knowledgeable about all aspects of building, inspecting and keeping your family warm and safe. I highly recommend New England Masonary!
I called this company and they came right out. I tried calling other companies and they had over a month wait. I met Bill Higgans the owner of this company, he was very professional. They cleaned my chimney and took pictures of the cap, which needed some repair. His prices are very fair. I highly recommend New England Masonry and Chimney Sweeps.
